I have another Brio review this week (we just can’t get enough of it) and this time it’s the BRIO Green Travel Train which perfectly compliments the BRIO Lift & Load Warehouse we reviewed last week. Since receiving these sets to review 3 weeks ago they haven’t been put away yet and instead have been a permanent feature in our play area!
The Green Travel Train comes with 3 carriages and a driver which is now our second Brio figure we have after getting one in our Lift & Load Warehouse set and I’m definitely on the lookout for more as they have added a new dimension to our train play.
Each of the carriages separates and can be attached again using the magnets as with our older brio trains which means they have also been added to our original trains over the last few weeks to make some super long ones.
Each of the carriages also opens up so you can take the figures in and out easily, what I loved about this was it wasn’t one of those tricky toys that little hands just can’t do themselves, instead it was easily managed by all my Little Tots.
The track we built today used some of our original track and the one from last weeks review which is still proving to be hugely popular. Jack really enjoys separating the different brio train sets we have so today only used his new trains during his play.
This green travel train is different from our older style trains so all my Little Tots aged 18 months up to 8 years have enjoyed playing with it. The fact that it opens up and has a train driver has really appealed to them and added a new dimension to their imaginative play.
The Brio Green Travel Train is available directly from the Brio website RRP £19.99 which in my opinion is well worth it as Brio is not only one of our most popular resources here but also the longest lasting. The bulk of the Brio I own is already third hand me downs and in perfect condition still.
