Here’s a round up of some of the simple dinosaur activities for toddlers we have been doing in June. The Little Tots have loved this theme which was inspired by their love of the book ‘Tom and the Dinosaur Egg’. All of these are so easy and simple that even the most uncreative of you can put together at little cost, and what little ones don’t love dinosaurs?

Dinosaur Playdough

We love playdough so of course when exploring dinosaurs we had to make our very own dinosaur themed playdough which was also scented. More details here.

Cardboard Dinosaur Craft

I cut out the shapes of these dinosaurs using cardboard and paper tubes and left the Little Tots to paint. Once dry there were able to play with them and use them for story telling.

Dinosaur Bath

And of course once you’ve finished painting with dinosaurs and squishing them in playdough they’re gonna need a bath!

I would love to know how you’ve got on trying out some of the above or see your dinosaur themed activities as i’m sure my Little Tots will want to do this theme again very soon.
